The Upper Lee Valley is set to become a vibrant, sustainable and successful place where people and business can start, stay and grow.
Our vision is to transform the Upper Lee Valley through public and private investment in North London's Waterside - a comprehensive range of complimentary new developments making maximum use of the area's natural assets - the waterway, parkland, and its close proximity to central London.
This will be achieved through a new partnership between councils, public agencies, local communities and major national and international investors to explore and act upon development opportunities within the Upper Lee Valley, supported by The Mayor and central government.
- 10 areas have already been identified as zones of change within the Upper Lee Valley forming the regeneration backbone for the area
- Strategic plan-making is being progressed by the three Boroughs in the Upper Lee Valley, examining various options for sites such as Central Leeside and North East Enfield
- The Lee Valley Regional Park and its extensive waterside areas have the potential to enhance investment value by offering significant leisure and lifestyle opportunities. The waterways also provide opportunities for sustainable transport for both business and freight activities
